The nature of the Bespoke design process at Found Bridal and Occasionwear
My process of creating is a little different than most bespoke businesses, due to its whimsical nature.
I have trained in bespoke fashion design (with specialism in Costume and Corsetry) and it is my practise to ensure that the pieces I make are best suited to the figures that will wear them. If you wish to have an entirely custom made garment or accessory just for you, in uniquely sourced upcycled fabrics and items, then I will make them to you measurements in either a personal fitting or with the guidelines given to me (nothing can keep us apart, there is always a way!).
I will require a certain amount of time to make each garment, as the process involves entirely hand-sourcing and hand-making each garment and accessory. This means that you will need to consult before ordering a piece, unless you want to buy one of the samples or ready-made pieces that you've seen on the website or instagram. Please send me an email and let me know what you have in mind, in terms of bespoke orders or any general questions. Anything you see here can be worked with as an inspiration start, and any pictures, ideas, requirements of your own will be helpful to know...
In this way, we can work together to make a truly unique piece of art, just for you.
My humble workspace is in Birmingham, where I can fit a garment or ensemble to you in the bespoke process. It's not much but it's home.
Otherwise, I can visit brides and customers within reason (message me for details).
If you are not nearby then alternatives can be arranged i.e. a lot of measurements and a leap of faith, so please just ask and I'd be happy to discuss what works for you.
